Ann Callahan has spent over 35 years promoting health and fitness as a fitness instructor and Service Coordinator working with seniors and adults with disabilities in Watertown's publicly supported housing.
She created two community gardens in Watertown Public Housing, ran learning centers, and built her signature Healthy Habits program — 10 cohorts, each running 8 weeks of shared ideas around food, fitness, and community wellness.
Now Ann is building Fruit Yourself! — a fruit bike and catering social enterprise bringing culturally connected, local recipes to communities and events.

Healthy Habits is a program Ann designed where a group of individuals meet weekly to share and learn about healthy foods — fruits and vegetables — and incorporate fitness into their routines. Together, participants explore the benefits of increasing nutritious foods in daily life.
The program provides nutritious and delicious foods alongside a variety of fitness and well-being programs — and Fruit Yourself! grew directly out of that mission.
Healthy Habits was fortunate to implement its program in collaboration with community partners Healthy Waltham and Waltham Family Schools — made possible through competitive grant funding from The Cummings Foundation.
